Our Story
GlobalInnovatorz began with one life — a tiny newborn who arrived three months too early.
Born in the United States to a Sri Lankan family, he spent his first fragile days not in his mother’s arms, but in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Machines breathed for him, monitors tracked his heartbeat, and a team of doctors and nurses worked tirelessly to keep him alive.
Those weeks were filled with uncertainty and fear, but also with hope. Every ounce gained, every steady breath, every day survived was a victory. Against all odds, this little baby grew stronger, proving that with the right care, even the most vulnerable lives can thrive.
He never forgot what it meant to have access to a well-equipped NICU and he knew that in Sri Lanka, where the family’s roots are, many families do not have the same chance. Government hospitals there are overcrowded, underfunded, and desperately short on essential equipment like incubators and laryngoscopes. For countless Sri Lankan newborns, survival often depends not on their strength, but on whether the hospital has the tools to save them.
This is why GlobalInnovatorz was created. What began as one baby’s fight to live has grown into a mission to give every newborn in Sri Lanka the same chance — the chance to be held, to heal, and to go home.
Why Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka’s economic crisis has pushed government hospitals to the edge — and newborns are among the most vulnerable.
Premature births are rising → many babies need intensive NICU care.
NICUs are overcrowded → incubators and beds must be shared between too many infants.
Essential equipment is scarce → laryngoscopes, incubators, and monitors are in short supply.
Medicines and formula run out quickly → leaving fragile babies without the support they need.
Hospitals like Jaffna Teaching Hospital work tirelessly, but resources fall far short of demand.

Our Mission
At GlobalInnovatorz, our mission is deeply personal and urgently needed: to give every newborn in Sri Lanka the chance to survive, grow, and thrive. Too many babies are born into hospitals without the equipment or supplies to save them. We are here to change that — one incubator, one medicine, one life at a time.”
We work in partnership with Green Dreams Women (GDW) and hospitals like the Teaching Hospital in Jaffna to bridge the critical gaps in neonatal care. Together, we focus on the most vulnerable — premature and critically ill babies — providing the tools and care they need to take their very first steps toward a healthy life.
